Weekly Update Dec 13-Jan 1

Welcome to our last update of 2011!

Here’s a look at the youth ministry calendar for the next couple of weeks:

SUNDAY, DEC 18: All youth grades 9-12 are invited to join us for LIFE TEEN: “Big White Elephant”. We meet in the hall at 7:30pm, but feel free to join us for mass at 6:00. See you then!

TUESDAY, DEC 20: Challenge and Conquest (youth grades 5-8) are joining forces for a family potluck! BOTH clubs will meet in the hall at Holy Trinity at 6:00pm for a meal and some family time!

THURSDAY, DEC 22: All are invited to join us for a holy hour from 4-5pm in the chapel at Holy Trinity.
ALSO ON THURSDAY:
–Youth choir practices at 5:30 for Christmas Eve–we’re singing at 4:00pm at St.
Thomas Aquinas.
–There will be NO EDGE night. See you in January!

SATURDAY, DEC 24: The youth choir sings at the 4:00pm mass at St. Thomas Aquinas

SUNDAY, DEC 25: Merry Christmas!

MONDAY, DEC 26-FRIDAY, DEC 31: The parish office is closed. There will be no youth events during the week.

SUNDAY, JAN 1: Youth in grades 9-12 are invited to join us for a movie night in the hall at 7:30pm. All are welcome!

Youth Ministry at Holy Trinity Parish exists to accomplish three goals:

1. To help young people to know Jesus Christ.
2. To form them into His growing disciples.
3. To call them into loving service of God and of neighbor.

How do we do that? By creating an environment that is exciting, welcoming, Christ-centered, and full of surprises. It is a place where you can meet great people, ask honest questions (and get honest answers), and discover your purpose in life. There is a place for you here at Holy Trinity. If you are a young person in grades 6-8, check out our junior high Conquest & Challenge Groups, or in grades 9-12, check out LIFE TEEN, and we also have many opportunities for young adults to get more involved.
