LIFE TEEN

LIFE TEEN is an international Catholic movement  that is active in twenty countries worldwide and over a thousand different parishes.  LIFE TEEN exists to lead teens closer to Christ.

At Holy Trinity Parish, LIFE TEEN serves our grade 9-12 youth each and every Sunday night.  We begin with the heart and soul of our Catholic faith: the celebration of the Sunday Mass at 6pm and continue with a LIFE Night from 7:30 till 9pm afterwards, where we might sing Karaoke, have a discussion about what the Church teaches about love or suffering, or we might have a guest speaker sharing his or her testimony about God’s grace acting in his or her life.

Whatever a particular LIFE Night might bring, we guarantee that there will be plenty of surprises, opportunities to develop strong and healthy friendships, and most importantly, it is a place to encounter Jesus Christ.  We’d love for you to join us: there is a place for you here in our youth ministry.

Here’s what’s coming up in LIFE Nights over the month of February & March:

  • Sunday, February 5th: In Pursuit! God has a plan for your happiness… come hear about what it is.
  • Sunday, February 12th: Chain Reaction- sin impacts your life in more ways than you know, and why it is that we need moral laws.
  • Sunday, February 19th: Mystery Dinner Theatre… we’ll eat, and solve a mystery!
  • Sunday, February 26th: Gifted- learn how God made you to love, the purpose of your sexuality, and the gift of chastity.
  • Sunday, March 4th: Gym Night at St. Marguerite School.
  • Sunday, March 11th: A Living Purity- a discussion of the issues that come up when we talk about God, the Church, and sexual purity.
  • Saturday, March 17th: DARE YOU TO MOVE – our Holy Trinity Parish youth conference.  Get the form here.
  • Sunday, March 25th: Legit Defense- a discussion of the death penalty (and the value of human life.)

About

Youth Ministry at Holy Trinity Parish exists to accomplish three goals:

1. To help young people to know Jesus Christ.
2. To form them into His growing disciples.
3. To call them into loving service of God and of neighbor.

How do we do that? By creating an environment that is exciting, welcoming, Christ-centered, and full of surprises. It is a place where you can meet great people, ask honest questions (and get honest answers), and discover your purpose in life. There is a place for you here at Holy Trinity. If you are a young person in grades 6-8, check out our junior high Conquest & Challenge Groups, or in grades 9-12, check out LIFE TEEN, and we also have many opportunities for young adults to get more involved.
